Crestron took the opportunity to present the new "all in one" VIDEOBAR 70 in the TEAMS version. This comprehensive MTR solution with 4 integrated 4K cameras and 24 microphones as an array impressed with innovative features such as speaker tracking and group framing thanks to internal AI. The presentation was complemented by USB-C transmitter solutions and the Automate VX camera system.
"The positive response to the event and the many one-to-one discussions showed that it really was time to hold an event like this in the Rhineland. I can well imagine that a repeat event in the foreseeable future will be even more popular," Frank Boshoven, Crestron.
Epson presented two solutions: Firstly, large, high-intensity projectors from the PQ and PU series for installations from 100 inches, and secondly, a mobile projection cabinet that enables high-quality projections of up to 160 inches (4 metres).
"The plan to show visitors the products from all relevant areas of media technology live was a success. The event should be repeated in this setting," Frank Mollitor, Epson.
Fohhn focussed on the topic of voice lift. The Sennheiser "TeamConnect Ceiling 2" ceiling microphone was used during the day's key note, the audio of which was played back via the Fohhn "Focus Slim FS-200" beam steering systems.
"It was great to see how much interest there was in this solution in individual discussions and which (end) customers we were able to get there," Mac Hermann, Fohhn.
Sennheiser realised "True Voice Lift" with Fohhn in the conference room during the key note. The TCC2 beamforming ceiling microphone allowed the speaker to move freely around the stage without conventional microphones and ensured excellent speech intelligibility right up to the last row. In addition, the new EW-D and EW-DX digital wireless systems and the new TC Bar-M and -S video bars were presented - a first for Sennheiser, as image signals are also being output for the first time.
"A successful event that provided a pleasant setting for a stress-free exchange with customers and interested parties. We'd be happy to do it again!", Carsten Litke, Sennheiser.
Visitors were able to network directly with the expert teams and gain valuable insights into the various technologies. "The initiative of the first Media Technology Day at our company was a complete success. It was great to see how all the participating companies worked together to organise this joint event. It was the first event of a new event format, but certainly not the last," Martin Goertz, SIGMA.
