The energy service provider Steag Iqony Group is getting a new room for its management team that fulfils all the requirements of modern communication and meeting culture. We are responsible for the entire conference technology - from initial planning to implementation.
The result is a customised media concept.
Investment in the energy transition
The Steag Iqony Group is part of the Spanish company Asterion Industrial Partners. The Group's aim is to drive forward the energy transition by investing in green technologies such as hydrogen, solar and wind energy and battery storage. At the same time, the Group ensures security of supply in Germany with six hard coal-fired power plant sites, contributing around five per cent to total electricity generation. However, the transformation to emission-free energy generation is a top priority for the teams.
Pioneering media technology for effective meetings
The completely redesigned conference room combines modern design with innovative technology. The large conference table for up to 20 people is equipped with retractable double monitors with integrated cameras. It offers everything you need to ensure that local and hybrid meetings run smoothly.
Intelligent customised solutions for better communication
With the camera tracking system specially developed and programmed for the Steag Iqony Group, we configured the ceiling microphones so that they precisely identify the recording zones of the ten table cameras. This means that the camera in front of which someone is speaking is always activated. As soon as no one or several people are speaking at the same time, or the microphones are muted, the room shot is shown.
Technical expertise down to the smallest detail
For even better results, we use a smart combination of different tools: The VENTUZ software rectifies and optimises the camera image and adjusts the image section. It also enables the automatic insertion of belly bands. The tracking, media and room control runs via Crestron. With BYOM, participants can hold their own meetings via a USB-C connection at the table as well as via Clickshare and use the entire room peripherals without the Teams room system. Intelligent source switching is also integrated.
