In Motion – Art & Football

German Football Museum, Dortmund
Exhibition Art Museum

Immersive, moving, three-dimensional

Few sports are as emotional as football. It connects people and nations - and unites Europe. The German Football Museum is opening ‘In Motion - Art & Football’ just in time for UEFA EURO 2024. A unique art exhibition that adds a new dimension to the idea of a diverse, united Europe. With creative media technology that creates an immersive experience.

The perfect combination of art and technology

The who's who of European artistic modernism will be on display across an expansive 1,000 square metres. 175 works of art from all participating nations at UEFA EURO 2024 - by artists such as René Magritte, Paul Klee, Banksy and many more. Our impressive multi-media installation combines these works of art with film and photography, noises, sounds and tones to create a unique experience - and brings back the lifestyle of the early 20th century.

Technology for the senses

The exhibition operates at the interface between digital and analogue art mediation, between film and performance. 23 projectors, 45 loudspeakers and 110 spotlights with huge projection surfaces, mirrored walls and a powerful three-dimensional sound system create a spatial experience that touches all the senses. In addition, innovative media technology installations make the exhibition interactive and literally set art and football in motion. A captivating, multi-sensory experience that allows visitors to become part of the production.

It is a great pleasure for us to use our expertise and state-of-the-art media technology to help create an exhibition that connects not only Europe, but all people.
