When the traditional Düsseldorf ice skating community stages a spectacular presentation of the new ice hockey players at the start of the season, we are there. With our expertise and state-of-the-art media technology.
DEG stands for tradition since 1935, for titles, tears and triumphs. And for passionate fans. Thousands attend home games at the PSD Bank Dome. And the derbies against their favourite rivals, the Kölner Haie, are always completely sold out. The anticipation for the new season is correspondingly high. And this is further fuelled by a very special light show.
The new players and jerseys will not be presented in a hall or on the ice as usual, but on a Düsseldorf landmark. The castle tower stands in the centre of the old town on the banks of the Rhine. A historic backdrop that our state-of-the-art projection technology transforms into a gigantic screen.
With powerful laser technology we illuminate the castle tower in red and yellow, the colours of DEG, as darkness falls. Accompanied by a rousing soundtrack, the projections begin with a countdown. Then all the new players are introduced individually - their names, shirt numbers and faces are projected onto the castle tower. The highlights of the previous season are also shown. An emotional presentation with precise video mapping that not only gives the fans goosebumps - but also provides plenty of content for social media.
