Our solution goes far beyond the traditional concept of a conference room: Intelligent multi-camera tracking creates an environment where meetings are more efficient and dynamic. This system combines technologies from Canon, Shure and StackControl ol to optimally showcase participants in the room.

Often, meeting participants who are not on-site see a single view of everyone in the conference room at once, which lacks detail. Alternatively, participants in the meeting room are split into individual tiles, making it impossible to perceive the room and interactions. This lack of engagement quickly leads to meeting fatigue, and remote participants are easily distracted.

Bring the participants into the room! By using up to 12 Canon PTZ cameras as part of an intelligent and automated multi-camera audio and people-tracking system orchestrated by StackControl, combined with Shure’s crystal-clear audio solutions, an environment is created that visually and acoustically matches the experience of being physically present in the room.

Remote participants can follow both the interaction of multiple people in the room and the facial expressions and gestures of each speaker in detail. This increases concentration and makes meetings more efficient and dynamic. Our solution is also well-suited for live video broadcasts and recordings, without the need for additional staff.

The combination of modern Canon PTZ cameras, the StackControl SC100 controller, and the Shure Microflex Advance ceiling microphone array enables intelligent multi-camera tracking. The PTZ cameras automatically pan to the currently active speaker. As soon as a new person speaks, the camera switches in real time. No more manual switching—the system detects who is speaking and immediately brings that person into the frame. The result: a natural, fluid presentation that makes hybrid meetings more dynamic and professional.

StackControl

StackControl’s solutions enable precise PTZ camera person tracking by processing the spatial coordinates of speakers in the room via Shure Mikroflex microphones and immediately directing the PTZ cameras toward them. The cameras switch between speakers using up to 12 PTZ cameras, completely eliminating the need for visible panning and tilting. The video switching meets a high standard, allowing remote participants in meetings, seminars, and lectures to naturally engage with what is happening in the room. All speakers are displayed at the best possible angle. By utilizing Canon PTZ cameras, the StackControl solution also controls Canon’s person tracking.
