EuroShop 2026 – AV Technologies for Retail Experiences | SIGMA AV at JUST A LOUNGE

How technology is changing brand spaces and store concepts
Düsseldorf, 10. March 2026 | Article

Compelling retail experiences are created where technology intelligently connects spaces, brands, and messages

How can brand spaces be convincingly staged through technology, content, and architecture? At EuroShop 2026 in Düsseldorf, ideas, technologies, and perspectives on the future of retail came together.

In the JUST A LOUNGE, the focus was on brand spaces, digital staging, and modern AV technologies – together with our partners D’ART DESIGN and fundus7. Retail experiences are created where media technology, design, and infrastructure are considered together. This was exactly what was discussed in the lounge.

How can products be presented more effectively? How can architecture, content, and media technology interact meaningfully in the store? And which technologies create real added value for orientation, experience, and communication in retail?

A look at six technologies from JUST A LOUNGE that open up new possibilities for retail experiences.

1. LED walls for impressive brand spaces

LED walls are now one of the key design elements in modern retail spaces. With pixel pitches ranging from 0.7 to 10 mm, they can be used to create both high-resolution displays for close viewing distances and large-format image surfaces with a powerful long-distance effect.

Thanks to their modular design, LED screens can be flexibly integrated into architecture and shopfitting – for example, as a feature wall, in the entrance area, or in shop-in-shop areas. High brightness, stable color reproduction, and reliable continuous operation ensure that content remains clearly visible even under demanding lighting conditions.

2. Transparent LED screens for digital shop windows

Transparent LED screens enable moving content to be displayed directly in front of glass surfaces or facades, while maintaining the view inside and outside. This creates digital shop window displays without obscuring the architecture.

This technology is particularly suitable for retail shop windows, facades, or architecturally sensitive environments where digital content should be visible without losing the transparency of the space.

3. Transparent OLED display – experience content and product simultaneously

Transparent OLED displays combine digital content with real objects. Content appears to float freely in space, while products or exhibits remain visible in the background.

The displays are available in 30″ and 55” sizes and can be integrated as individual installations or as larger display areas. An optional touch function enables interactive applications directly on the transparent panel.

4. LED Foldster – flexible LED solution for the POS

The LED Foldster is a foldable LED display stele in portrait format, developed for dynamic retail and POS areas.

The system can be set up, relocated, or folded away in a matter of seconds. This makes it particularly suitable for seasonal campaigns, promotional areas, or product highlights. When folded, the display remains compact and easy to transport – ideal for flexible sales areas.

5. Spatial Reality Displays – 3D without glasses

Spatial Reality Displays enable the display of three-dimensional content without special glasses or headsets. High-resolution 3D images, animations, and videos create a realistic depth effect and make digital content appear vividly in space.

Real-time tracking of head and eye movements dynamically adjusts the perspective to the viewing angle. This creates an immersive viewing experience that opens up new possibilities, especially for product visualizations, prototypes, or showroom applications.

6. Drone shows – brand staging in the sky

New opportunities for visual brand staging are also emerging in the event sector. Drone shows use precisely programmed flight formations and LED-illuminated drones to display logos, shapes, or animations in the sky.

Such presentations create eye-catching visual experiences and are particularly suitable for events, product launches, or major brand appearances where brand messages need to be impressively visible.
